Dear Chalky, RIP.  How can time have passed so quickly? Those glorious days of afternoon football practices and Friday night games.  We were so young and had everything to live for. And we have lived it. You had a great career as a firefighter; husband, father and grandfather. Your friends will miss you deeply. Sincere condolences to your wife and family.

I am so sorry to hear that Chalkie passed away. I was happy to be able to talk with him at the 50th Reunion and remember playing football with him, especially our Junior and Senior years (we lined up next to each other, he was a tackle and I was an end). My condolences to his family. He was a good guy!

Chalkie and I drove to Alaska in the summer of 1974. We then went to California to visit Sumner,Yogi and Nate Schlenk. We both played for the Richmond Rugby Football Club. He was the toughest player on our squad. I will miss him terribly and God bless you Joan ❤️

It has been a long long time for me, but I would definitely have to put Chalkie on the list of ALL TIME GOOD GUYS. Right up there with Robert Wiltshire. Never heard anybody utter a bad word about him. That is a true testament for living a good life. RIP my brother ❤️
