Jack Marshall was shot to death as he manned the front desk on the evening shift of the hotel at Dickens Road and Broad Street Road. Apparently, it was thought to be an attempted robbery. Jack was a good soul who enjoyed a good laugh, I am sure his family misses him and the trauma of how he died is still very real to them.
