Frederick William "Rick" Koopmann, III, 62, of Merritt Island, Fla., formerly Richmond, Va., passed away September 19, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann; son, Frederick W. Koopmann IV; grandchildren, Joshua and Emily Koopmann; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Dorleen Koopmann; and cousin, Lynne McAfee. We will all miss him. No formal service will be held.
