GEORGE, Ralph Christopher, 75, of Palmyra, Va. passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023. He was proceeded in death by his parents Ralph George and Ereser Parra. He leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Vickie Baehr George, son Scott George (Christina) Daughter Ryann Pretlow (John), three grandchildren, MJ Harden, McKenze Harden and Olivia Pretlow. He is also survived by his brothers, Derrick (Anne), Lance (Sandra), Kevin (Charlotte), Charles, and two half-brothers, Erick (Edi) and Jeffery Parra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Chris served within the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam during 1968. He was cited for bravery during the TET offensive. He served with the Henrico County Police, retiring after 30 years. He then went to the Louisa County Sheriff's Department and retired as First Sergeant.
The family would like to thank Henrico Co. Police Department, Louisa Co. Sheriff's Department and The Hospice of the Piedmont for all their care and concern.
