I have known Melvin since we were kids all the way through school. Dropping by to chat at the store was always a treat. You know, Melvin knew just about everything about most of our classmates. My son, Chris, worked for Melvin from the time he could get a work permit (14) until graduation from high school and then some summers while at VT. Everytime he came home he went to visit Melvin and was gone for hours. I ran into John Harler the other day and we both agree this is a great loss not only for the class but also for the community at large. Melvin was very benevolent. So REST IN PEACE my dear frind. You are misssed by a lot of peiople.

So sorry to hear of Ricky's death. We were good friends in HS and I know he will be missed not only by the Committee but by many friends and family. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Brenda and I just returned from a great week in the Caribbean. We left 84 degrees and sunny and returned to the second week of wet and cold in Richmond. It was a great way to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary.

Sorry for the delay. Nothing like a belated Birthday Greeting. But I hope you had a great one. Enjoy your Christmas too. Our grandson, Leo, (and Chris and Katie, of course) will be here for the holidays and then we go up to his house for Leo's 2nd birthday later in January. Your Favorite Dog!
Have a great birthday, Melvin Enjoy the day. Teddy
